My Yashica Electro 35 GSN ….

(This post originates from my Other blog Dated mid of 2007 ..And has been transfered to this blog due to change in policies)

I recently inherited a yashica electro 35 gsn from my grandfather and was very exited about taking photos from that camera…this excitement was short lived as i soon found out the 5.6v mercury battery(PX 32) required for the cam was no longer available in the market …but found out a similar 6v PX28A was compatible …but ..but even that one was not available anywhere in bangalore …after several trips to national market ,sp road i thought of making a 6v battery myself and made it using Four 1.5v LR44 batteries costing 25rs each.. connected it in series with a tape and used a spring to make up for the size difference …and wala it did work ….now next step buying a film and trying my hand in photography …. 😉
